세라도(The Cerrado)
세라도는 브라질 중부(고이아스, 미나스 헤라이스 지역)의 열대 사바나 생태지역으로 세계에서 가장 풍부한 생태적 환경을 지닌 지역이다.
이 지역은 5월부터 10월까지 겨울 건기이며, 연간 강우량은 800~ 1,600mm이하로 토양은 전체적으로 척박하다.
